THM BRIDAL FAQ's
Have a Question that I didn’t cover? please reach out via contact page!
What are the requirements to secure my booking with THM?
When you’re ready to secure your date with THM, all that is required is the signed agreement and $100 nonrefundable booking fee. Once things are official you will receive an onboarding email with your own personal log-in info to access your bridal portal where all of our communication and shared documents can be found along with a bridal beauty checklist!
Is there a booking minimum?
A $1000 minimum for hair and/or makeup services is required in order to book Tanya Hair and Makeup for on location. Should the services you choose total less than the minimum, the total will be billed at the minimum rate. Minimum rate is for wedding day hair and/or makeup services and does not include any additional fees.
What is included in the bridal package?
Bridal package includes either hair and/or makeup for the wedding day, a trial run appointment to preview the look, a touch up kit for your wedding day touch up needs and luxury skin prep prior to makeup (if makeup is done).
Can you stay for touch ups or look changes?
Yes I can! Having your artist standby for photos is super helpful, as well if you are changing outfits for reception and would like to modify your look. It is an additional hourly fee of $100 per hr.
Where is the trial run performed?
Trial run appointments are booked at my home-based hair studio in Shoreline, WA. Trial run appointments are included with the bridal package only.
When do we schedule the trial run?
It is recommended to book the trial run appointment 1 month out from the big day. This way you have most of your details finalized and have a better idea of the overall vision. Also your skin tone and hair length will be closer to what we can expect to work with on the wedding day. 60 days prior to your wedding date you will receive an email with a booking link to schedule your trial appointment.
What type of makeup is used?
All makeup and skincare used are top of the line professional products. I use primarily airbrush foundation on my brides and their party however traditional foundation is available as well. All products are waterproof and set to last all day and night.
Can I use hair extensions?
Yes! Hair extension services can be provided via appointment at THM salon prior to the wedding day (sew-in or tape-in) at the salon rate, hair is not provided but I can recommend vendors. Temporary pieces such as halos or clip in wefts can also be used to add volume and/or length on the “day of” at an additional fee, hair extensions are not provided.
Are false lashes provided?
Yes, false lashes are encouraged and included with all makeup services.
How long do services take?
Bridal hair and/or makeup takes a minimum of 1 hour each, or 2 hours for both depending on desired look, hair length/thickness, or whether extensions are involved. I like to budget a minimum 45 min. per service for bridal party hair or makeup or 90 min. minimum for both. When making a timeline for the wedding day I also like to include buffer time between services. Trial run appointments are roughly 2-2.5 hrs depending on services.
